As the Founder and CEO of Astraterra, her expertise lies in forming strategic partnerships, managing projects, and driving progress across space, transport, smart cities, infrastructure, and mobility services, while advising and designing optimal solutions with the engineering standards and concept of business.

Mireille is a Senior Honorary Lecturer at Imperial College London, where she previously held various positions within the College, including the Directorship of the Integrated Space Science Engineering Program, &nbsp;an Advanced Research Fellow at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, and a Security Fellow at The Institute of Security Science and Technology. She was also an external Lecturer lecturing on PNT, CNI, and Security of Infrastructure.&nbsp;

She has published various scientific papers in Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT), Interference mitigation, and novel integrity monitoring methods for multiple telematics and smart cities applications. Mireille holds a PhD from Imperial College London, where she researched the use of new GPS signals to improve accuracy for surface transport. She has an MSc in Transport Engineering from Imperial College London, an MSc in Financial Analysis and Fund Management (FAFM) from Exeter University, and a BSc in Business Marketing from the Lebanese American University. Before indulging in Smart Cities and Space, she was a banker in various London Banks and a financial consultant for various London-based family offices and specialist funds.&nbsp;

Currently, she is a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Navigation, a member of the International Advisory Board (IAB) at Imperial College London, and the Radio Technical Commission for Maritime Services. (RTCM)

His career focuses on the cost-effective creation and implementation of Enterprise initiatives supporting strategic cost-reduction, business process, and security.&nbsp;

His expertise spans multiple domains including Business, Technology, and Large-Scale Project Management. Skilled in a range of forward-looking technologies including OT/IoT, Cloud Infrastructure, SaaS, and Advanced Communication Technologies, David has extensive experience working with major private and public sector clients in North America, Europe, and the Middle East.

David Hester

Security & Systems Lead, Technologist

Gholam is a Technologist and Futurist with extensive experience in Strategic Planning, Governance, and Technology Management whose career in Technology spans more than 40 years. His expertise encompasses virtually every aspect of Information and Communications Technology including Programming, SDLC, System, Network and Security Architecture, and Operations. He holds a BSc. in Computer Science, with a Minor in International Economics from American University in Paris, where he served as IT Director and Adjunct Associate Professor and Lecturer.

Over the course of his career, he served as Head of Networks and Systems with the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons in The Hague, and has assisted multiple other Governmental, and Supra-National Organizations including the United Nations, European Commission and Institutions. His work with large multi-Nationals includes security and mission-critical assignments with high profile clients in the Banking and Financial Services Industry, Health, Transportation and Telecommunications.

Gholam H. Sheibani

Space senior visiting advisor

Prof. Roman is the Chair of the Developing and Emerging Countries Committee (IAF ACCESS) at the International Astronautical Federation (IAF). Roman currently serves as General Director of Execution and Aerospace Development at the Paraguayan Space Agency, GEO Principal for Paraguay, and the GEO POST-2025 Working Group co-chair.&nbsp; He is also a member of the Group of Earth Observations Executive Committee. He is also an undergraduate and graduate professor at UNIDA University. He earned global awards, including the 2021 Technology Excellence Award in India.

Previously, Prof. Roman led technology operations as IT Manager for Paraguay's Civil Aviation Authority for over a decade. He was an Academic Coordinator at the Engineering School of the University of the Integration of the Americas (UNIDA). He is also a Full-Member Academician of the International Academy of Astronautics (IAA) and a Member of the Spanish Network of Planetology and Astrobiology (REDESPA).

A computer programmer with a Bachelor of Systems Analysis, has pursued specialized programs at esteemed universities, including Oxford, MIT, and Harvard, focusing on technology, education, aviation systems, and space. With a master's in business administration (MBA) and specialist degrees in Higher Education, Geographic Information Systems, and Remote Sensing, he is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Education Sciences. With 25+ years of experience in Information Technology, Education, Civil Aviation, and Space.

Professor Alejandro Roman

Project Coordinator

Farah Alghali is the Project Coordinator at Astra-Terra Ltd. Her academic background is rooted in civil and environmental engineering, with a focus on structural analysis, geotechnical engineering, and environmental sciences, as well as reinforced construction. Additionally, she holds a Master of Science degree in Construction Management, where she honed skills in quality assurance, risk management, planning, tendering, procurement, and cost-effective quantity surveying.
&nbsp;
Previously, Farah served as a Sales Consultant for a UK-based company specialising in construction tools, catering to both business-to-consumer (B2C) and business-to-business (B2B) markets. She also held a similar role with a French-based company, where she consulted niche customers to the purchase of affordable GNSS receivers for RTK and PPK geospatial data collection and post-processing across the Middle East and Africa.

In her career, Farah has also excelled in execution planning of projects and served as a Tendering and Procurement specialist for a prestigious Lebanese company. In this capacity, she handled proposals (RFPs) and requests for quotations (RFQs) for international bodies such as the United Nations, particularly in construction areas and other soft services. Her responsibilities included managing tender processes and planning execution of awarded projects.
